Hello friends! Happy Wednesday (Or Bake Off day as I’ve taken to calling it). I’m super excited to share with you tonight because it’s all about my favourite of subjects- fairtrade fashion. I’ve been scouring the internet (such a chore), hunting high and low for some of my favourite fairtrade fashion finds to share with you. And I’m feeling pretty colourful!!
First up….
Shirt dress – Ruby Rocks at fashion-conscience.com
Oh. Wow. Can I tell you how much I love this dress?!! The colours, the print, the wearability! I’ll let you into a secret, I have promised my mister I will *try* to stop buying clothes in an effort to save money, but THIS shirt dress may convince me otherwise. I just can’t get enough of it! Perfect for autumnal layering.
Horse print dress – People Tree
For those of you who have been following us for a while, you may be realising that I LOVE a quirky animal print. And I love yellow. So this SUPER adorable dress is right up my street! They do a fitted a-line version too for those who prefer a more sculpted shape.
Punjammies
Punjammies are made by a group of women at the International Princess
Project, a project committed to saving women and girls from sexual slavery in India by providing them with skills and opportunity that give them freedom. I don’t think I need to say more but let’s also note how beautiful these punjammies are! Beautiful fabrics and an inspiring organisation.
Cut out necklace – Mata Traders at fashion-conscience.com
I love a dimensional, layered piece, and I think this necklace is captivating! Mata Traders are an American company but thankfully we have fashion-conscience.com to provide us with their wonderful jewellery and clothing here in the UK. Huzzah!!
For those of you tempted to dabble in fairtrade and ethical fashion, and I really encourage you to do so, I highly recommend fashion-conscience.com as a one stop shop for fantastic pieces. After all… The clothes we wear tell a story. What does yours say? Hannah xo
